Composition:
Each gram powder contains:
200 mg amprolium
hydrochloride.
Spectrum of activity:
Amprolium is an anti-coccidial drug with activity against Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina.
The drug acts by interferingwith thiamine metabolism in the parasite.
Indications:
As preventive or therapeutic agent against Eimeria infections.
Contra-indications:
Use in hens producing eggs for human food.
Side-effects:
Long-term treatment of high doses may result in delayed growth or polyneuritis (caused by reversible thiamine
deficiency) and the development of natural immunity may be delayed.
Dosage and administration:
Orally via drinking water or feed.
Broilers: 15-20 mg b.w. (approx. 60 g per 100 litres of drinking water) during 5-7 days, followed by 7.5-15 mg
b.w. (approx. 30 g per 100 litres of drinking water), during 1 or 2 weeks. (Administer during treatment only
medicated drinking water).
Lambs: 50 mg bodyweight (approx. 5 g powder per 20 kg b.w.), during 1 or 2 days, followed by 5-10 ppm feed
during 3 weeks.
Cattle: 50 mg bodyweight (approx. 5 g powder per 20 kg b.w.), during 5 days (via drinking water).
Mixed with feed, the product should be used immediately. Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

For meat: 2 days

Store closed in a cool and dry place.
